LESTER-GRAM SPECIAL BULLETIN #4
February 4th, 2008
Here is the latest update on Seth:
Today I heard a smile in Jenny's voice as she let me know Seth's progress. Let me start by saying that the doctor did confirm from the CAT scan that Seth did suffer a light stroke from the puncture in the carotid artery, but has made considerable progress in the past 24-48 hours. The movement and strength is slowly coming back to his right arm and his speech is improving a great deal. He is now on his second day of food and will more than likely get the packing in his nose removed sometime today. They are in the process of lowering the dosage of his blood pressure medicine to wean him off of it. We still have no time line as to how much longer Seth will be in ICU, but we believe he will be moving out very soon. We can not tell you enough how much your faithfulness in praying has meant to our entire family. God has truly brought us this far and we are trusting Him and Him alone thru the rest of Seth's recovery. The past two nights when we have sung the song, "I Need You More", the words have taken on a whole new meaning..."I need You more, I need Your mercy, I need Your word everyday, I need Your grace, I need Your strength, I need Your love, I need YOUR touch like never before, I need YOU more!” We still need everyone to continue praying as we know Seth has a long way to go....But God is with us and so are you.
Love & Blessings

BRIEF HIGHLIGHTS FROM LAST WEEK
Our sincere and heartfelt thanks to Pastor David Hartgrove and the congregation of First Assembly of God in Centralia, MO. We were to have been in concert there last Friday night, but due to the complications with Seth’s surgery, it was cancelled so that we could be with the family at the hospital. Pastor Hartgrove was so understanding and knew this was where we needed to be. As always, the Lord works things out and we were able to reschedule the Centralia, MO, concert for Friday February 15th, 2008, at 7:00pm.
Saturday night we were with Pastor Gary Green at Morning Star Fellowship in Bowling Green, MO. In years past, it is normally one of the coldest nights with snow and ice—but this night was different. It was clear sailing. Morning Star has a heart for missions and The Lesters are so grateful for the support they have shown our ministry down through the years. The Holy Spirit moved in a mighty way and we thank the Lord for what he accomplished through that service. We would also like to extend our thanks to the ladies for the wonderful fellowship meal after the service.
Sunday night The Lesters were with Pastor D. Wayne Heil and the congregation of New Life Harvest Church in Mt. Vernon, IL. Every time we are with Pastor Heil we always receive a blessing. During the concert he made reference to the Fall Festival of Gospel Music at Meramec Caverns as being one of his favorite places to attend and encouraged anyone who had never been to make plans to attend this October After all of that, we’ll need to make him our Public Relations Manager—it was great! At the conclusion of the service, Pastor Heil along with the congregation had special prayer for Seth and our ministry. It was truly a special time. Needless to say the entire evening was wonderful and we thank the Lord for using our time together in a special way.
Special thanks to our niece Shannon Tramel for stepping in for Jenny over the weekend. As always she did an outstanding job. Thanks also to our nephew Duane for stepping in to help out with sound along with Evan Lee.
Let me reiterate, thanks to everyone for their e-mails, calls and most of all your prayers during Seth’s surgery complications this past week.
On another note, Friday, January 25th our sister Donna Tramel celebrated her 60th birthday----and that morning was involved in an automobile accident. What a way to spend your birthday—in the hospital all day. The car was totaled; however, Donna’s injuries were serious but not as bad as they could have been. She is recovering from a fractured right knee and several contusions and as of this writing is back to work. We thank the Lord for his hand of mercy in this situation. As we always say, God is good all the time.
Until Next Time – We’re Gonna “Keep On Singing!”
